NearShore Solutions successfully concludes several SharePoint development projects for global Appliances Manufacturer

Starting in November 2009, NearShore Solutions developed several MS SharePoint applications for a global Appliance Manufacturer, supporting administrative processes, previously done with in-house-built custom solutions. The applications included Permission and Access Checking, Administration, and the Reporting and the Checking of the Task Fulfillment Status.

 

The project targets were:

  • Faster processes
  • Enhanced transparency
  • Reduction of administration efforts for managers
  • Identification of security risks resulting from unmanaged access by external users
  • Inform SiteCollection owners about risks, based on a standard report.

The following tools and technologies were used:

  • .NET 3.5
  • ASP.NET 2.0
  • SharePoint 2007
  • WSS 3.0
  • Visual Studio 2008
  • SVN
