For an international computer manufacturer NearShore Solutions adapted the Debian Operating System in its Lenny, Wheezy and Squeeze versions, added missing drivers and provided an image for automatic self-installation.
The port was ordered because the client’s central engineering dept. could not develop and test the port in time for a critical customer rollout.
Project description:
The task included the commissioning of all required drivers and utilities, a comprehensive compatibility test an a brand new laptop platform, the compilation of a self-installing image and a documentation pack
Efforts:
About 100 man-hours over 12 working days.
